比特币和区块链这两个概念我听不同领域的人介绍过，自己也读过不少相关文章，但最后让我真正觉得自己“理解”了它们的，是“编码纪”这个参展作品。当这个参展组合提交了他们的双年展参展提案，密密匝匝的文字、分析图和效果图令人一时难以抓住重心。比特币作为一个时下正邪难辨、前途未卜的新事物，隐隐承担着来自政府和民间的压力，而要在比特币、区块链和城市及建筑之间寻找建筑文化与城市研究上的关联，这几乎是没有被深入研究过的课题。参展人言语在某个下午到访策展团队讲解提案，两个小时的交流过程让我无法分神，并且被展品背后的隐涵的大胆想象所打动。
“去中心化”和“缔造中心化”的现象悖论、城市聚集和离散的对冲逻辑，算力、暗网、加密、机器控制所构造的反乌托邦新世代，这一切被缝合在缜密的提案阐述中，小心隐藏起不宜被讨论的哲学立场，最终以最直观的方式把一切呈现给观众。如果你无意深度浏览，那你是从一个暗世界经过而不自知的人类，一切对你毫无影响；如果你停下脚步仔细观看，会发现区块链世界仿佛一个盲盒，所有制造者和参与者都在等待它被打开——而无论你是否打开，齿轮已经启动，一切都再也停不下来。

金钱是这个世界运转的法则，金钱的形式可能预示着这个世界的形式。关于比特币的讨论本质上是关于技术逻辑和推知的讨论。即，一种统治性的新技术的应用不会是中性的，它必然引导人类行为适应和符合技术自身的逻辑。
这个展览用泛建筑学科的知识和手段，为我们展现了这样几个基于研究的叙事，这种揭示本身既是批判性设计和推知设计的应用和展现。很高兴能看到这些年轻人的有趣探索。我也很乐于把这样的作品推送给深双组委会。

2019UABB以“巴西利亚2050”作品参展
中国人信奉世事通达，而通达之后，就没办法说真话了。也正因为此，编码货币反乌托邦系列作品在双年展中显得难能可贵：一批年轻学人凝视着未来，勾绘出一系列比特币技术乌托邦，并大胆地触碰现实的背后。这个作品如同是一杯混杂着生活幻像、未来科技、社会经济、数据化体制和城市欲望的梦幻鸡尾酒（我们正在期待享用，或者已经在快乐地饮用了）。
当我们在担忧未来AI机器人对人类的反噬之时，可能没有意识到这不是第一个反控人类的人工物，几千年前货币就已经被发明出来，并控制人类至今。作为资本的符号，其新形式（加密货币）必然带来更为复杂的衍生形态和机制。技术在为资本打造着新的面具。中性的技术并无善恶之分，但技术应用有伦理问题，当批判技术的时候，大部分锋芒所指的正是技术应用中的伦理问题；然而只纠缠于面具，回避技术应用背后的推动力是什么，所有的讨论都将沦为捣浆糊。技术发展需要巨大的资本和权力作为支撑，而技术应用为这种投入带来回报，回报再次投入技术更新，再生产出更大的回报。但如果新技术都被应用于如何创造资本的新市场，如何控制和固化社会阶级，社会将分化为：为消费提供市场的大众和控制所有资源的少数精英。不妨想想谁可以拥有2012电影里的船票。
当我把这个作品转给朋友看，一位朋友戚戚然地说，或许能够像现在一样简简单单的活完此生就是最大的幸运了。生活在这样的困境中：无论抱有进步主义的乐观态度，还是传统主义的悲观态度，其实并无差别，只不过前者是面朝前方狂奔，后者是面朝后方缓慢倒退（企图返回传统的人，忘了传统也是当下所创造出来的，不会比未来更真实，可以返回传统的唯一理由是得到了默许）。值得思考的是如何脱离这个轨道，或者，能不能坐下来不动。

乌托邦主义者的建筑与建筑的乌托邦主义是截然不同的。作为一个以建筑城市為主題的展览，厘清这个概念，以及如何超越这对概念的桎梏，是展览的关键。幾僅僅依靠图解來扩充想象的方式最好也只能視再现建筑的乌托邦主义了。
建筑或可成为一种有效的叙事媒介去完成批判從而重繪未來藍圖。首先必得面對比特幣，作為多種數位加密貨幣之一，所引發的技術─社會熱潮，以及幾乎變成純粹耗損電力與不公平累積財富的方式的失敗。
真实困难都源于技术的理想性，如透过加密匿名而获得全体信任，但为了保值而又仿照现实世界已经放弃的金本位法；如为了与实际现实交换而容许美元参与炒作，号召信仰者却容易沦为庞氏救世主义，而算法信托又滞碍难行；提出替换货币系统却遭致激烈挖矿的资源耗损；反对法定货币交易税但无法避免各种交易所在中间抽税使的交换成为可能等等。
数位支付导致了交易形态变化，对都市形态与风貌也产生影响，展览从全球视域中以实证数据指出其城市化可能与乌托邦图景。确实，展览以教育性、批判性反应问题而不能解决问题，但艺术的能力是超越解决问题的。数位都市论（digital-urbanism）揭露的是一种数位晋绅化（digital gentrification）的意识形态导向，如加密应作为一种权利，现在却只有精英黑客能够倡导与把玩；如智慧城市应该是由智慧市民所参与共同驱动，现在儼然只是房地产开发商与大型规划事务所的后人类规划方案而已。算法，此种抽象空间已经统治了空间生产，产生一系列数位高级化后的城市空间，控制了（也意味著驱逐）了人类的日常生活，购物中心变成人们的公共空间，节庆只是特卖会。
就此而言，此展的珍贵，在于提出对抗抽象空间的统一性，以数据、方案以及有著实践意涵的工作坊所展开，正是空间实践的尝试，亦即，对算法空间的宰制做出反思，共同图绘一种有建设性的想象力，并基于诊断现实而来的行动思考。我们知道批评失败很容易，提出alternaives（天真的替代性）也很容易，但针对技术于社会现实中失误诊断，犹如判断建筑于都市脉络下如何失败，就需要政治批判能力——去发现诊断后要往哪里去的想象可能也就是艺术最又能力干的事情了。这正是建筑展作为一种空间的再现最重要的关键。
这是我对展览的看法：让判断力介入，让想象力夺权。以建筑学与都市论的角度提出技术理想挫败之重要，正是因为技术习惯”非物质”的构想具体人的生活世界，而建筑与都市规划者总在禹步前行，在人类具体生活中发现当下失败的原因从而找到未来的可能。

2019上海城市艺术季“比特纪”在上海杨浦滨江绿之丘展出时，曾于隔壁我们澎湃新闻的场地中举办了一次沙龙。当时我因为出差在四川凉山木里，只能远程线上参与。很巧，附近大山里正在建设一座水电站。我立马想到这个无人之地或许将是比特币的产地，但山里的人又并不知晓它意味着什么，说到底只是靠山吃山。那么可以说，比特币不过是将此地再次边缘化而已。
大部分时候，技术被注入理想化的期待，似乎彻底中立。而人的问题恰恰在于，如何理解现代社会的秩序基础。而现实情况往往是，技术一旦实现，多数人就只能被动接受其中暗含的秩序，讨论伦理是无法改变现实的。
疫情之中，人们聚在一起的许多生活场景消失了，但说到底，水电站仍然在那里。人们赖以生存的虚拟世界，也终究需要一个能源的支点。

社会科学家、跨国公司首席执行官和大众媒体记者似乎都在强调，加密货币将引领人类走向一个金融和空间分散化日益显著的未来。然而，尽管比特币已经“成功学般”存在了10年，但现有比特币相关产业作为全球城市化（planetary urbanization）的一部分，其地缘政治尚未得到研究。如果我们试图彻底了解作为一种全球化掠影或城市化的比特币产业，那么就必须提出以下一系列问题：加密货币产生的空间和空间意识形态是什么？以加密货币为主导的新的生产和消费关系是什么？地区发展与加密货币生产和消费生态系统有何异同？导致区域和全球发展不平衡的不同力量（资源、能源、城市政策等）是什么？哪些机构（中央政府、垄断资本家、分散的匿名个人等）对影响城市化的加密货币做出决定？
研究将以mapping和数据实证的方法，从算法建模、计算加速、全球定位、人的尺度等四个方面，对比特币地缘政治框架下的加密货币对公共物品创造的金融性共同想象提出了挑战。我们认为，比特化不是一个“字面上编码我们所希望看到的世界”的过程，它不是一个分散的系统，而是与现有地缘政治力量的集中一致，反映了当前地缘政治关系和竞争。本文从建筑学和城市主义的角度揭示了一个更加动态的比特币化过程。从逆熵纪、星球城市化与生命政治的角度，我们探讨了一个城市研究与展览的行动性问题：基于我们人类和比特币技术之间的关系，设计师如何设想一个由比特币推动的反乌托邦，或许是如何与之抗争？通过这一探索，我对比特币技术提出的潜在悖论进行了更为实质性的批判，以提高人们对加密货币开采政治的认识，以及其潜在的绝望和被解放和分权的修辞所掩盖的歇斯底里。

Social scientist gurus, transnational corporations’ CEOs, and mass media journalists all emphasize that cryptocurrency will lead humanity to a future of increasing extraordinary financial and spatial decentralization. However, although bitcoin has been existed around for 10 years as a bettermentics or financing tactics, existing bitcoin geopolitics as a processing part of planetary urbanization have not been significantly addressed. If we try to thoroughly understand bitcoin industry as urbanizaition or a part of globalization, it is crucial to ask the following questions: what is the space and spatial ideology produced by cryptocurrency? What is the new production and consumption relationship led by cryptocurrency? What are the similarities and distinctions of the regional development with respect to cryptocurrency’s production and consumption ecosystem. What are the different forces (resources, energy, urban policies, etc.) that lead to uneven regional and global development? And what agencies (centralized government, monopolized capitalists, decentralized anonymous individuals, etc.) makes decisions about cryptocurrency that affect urbanism?
The relevant former evidence based data mapping research of the exhibition challenge the common imagination that cryptocurrency contributes to the creation of public goods by conducting the investigation through four aspects that fall under the umbrella of bitcoin geopolitics, including: algorithm modeling, computational accelerating, global positioning, and human scaling. We argue that bitcoinization is not a process that “literally codes the world we wish to see.” It is not a decentralized system; rather, it aligns with the existing geopolitical power concentrations and reflects current geopolitical relations and competition. The exhibition reveals a more dynamic bitcoinization process which remains a fundamentally capitalist urban process from the lens of architecture and urbanism. From a comprehensive perspective of neganthopocene, planetary urbanization and biopolitics, I conclude by exploring a urban study or exhibition activism question: how do designers envision a dystopia fueled by bitcoin, perhaps combatting it, based on the relationship between ourselves, as humans, and bitcoin technology? With this exploration, I develop a more substantial critique of the potential paradoxes raised by bitcoin technology, in order to raise awareness of the politics of cryptocurrency mining, whose underlying desperation and hysteria are concealed by the rhetoric of liberation and decentralization.

毫无疑问，区块链技术是左翼加速主义者技术霸权的新型政治想象，但近年舆论对这种技术褒贬不一。而回溯加速主义早期右翼-左翼形式中的几经波折、反转，需分别参照20世纪初意大利未来主义的法西斯转向，与2003年左翼加速主义宣言理论（Alex Williams & Nick Srnicek），他们分别是右翼与左翼加速主义之发端。他们主张拥有改革理想的行动者与理论家不应该因技术官僚主义（technocracy）而抵制技术，而应该介入技术的社会实践，主动利用技术去超越与掌控资本迭代的速度。
历来加速主义的意识形态与对待技术问题的价值观长期处于精神分裂的状态中。加速主义与其说是一种思潮，毋宁说是一种对速度及加速度之力之正/负外部性产生警醒的前意识。它总是在技术狂热和技术批判中摇摆不定。这使得加速主义在左翼-右翼的光谱中较难界定，而自彪炳为左翼加速主义的策略是明晰的，即还是追求加速超越资本主义价值形式与生产关系的限制，以激进技术对抗强权，而不是陷入新自由主义的TINA魔咒（There Is NO Alternative）去“姿态性”地抵抗资本主义。
而左翼技术这种超越的前意识，从历史的角度看是否有可能也只是一种未来“超克”，也是逆熵纪技术实践（Neganthropocene）的元问题，我们并不知道这种对社会的技术实践会导致熵增还是负熵。在意大利加速主义法西斯之后一百年间，先后出现了灭霸型意识形态的法西斯主义与白人至上主义等激进右翼，一战二战穿梭其中，不乏有以超越为由的政治话语乌托邦建构。一如竹内好评价二战期间日本军国主义正义化战争的理论思潮，成为了“反帝国主义的帝国主义”。这种先行的话语实践，一如伪装为“哲人王”行径，和构建“大东亚共荣圈”的做法何其相似。并且，丸山真男以超国家主义之“中心虚无”评价日本天皇制度在战后的不担责，而技术无罪本身即为一种责任主体的虚无状态——“中本聪”即万神庙穹顶中的真空——这是超克的中心虚无主义与技术民粹。
类比空间领域之殊途同源，矶崎新在库哈斯的访谈中，曾评价二战期间对“伪满洲国”进行城市规划的日本学者，是以左翼的工作室形式推进其右翼意识形态的空间政治（出自《日本计划》），以各种乌托邦想象为殖民开路。城市规划与空间生产在新马克思主义城市研究中的环境控制论与意识形态器械之地位，同样解释了与这种超克类比的语言学关系。
展览用影像、实证与图像叙事完成了这种类比符号体系的转化与技术话语的再现，并使其暴露在跨学科的价值观冲突与交集下。城市化熵托邦（Entropia Urbanism）借助图绘反乌托邦进行技术话语的精神分析，希望能将技术的公共性审慎地展开于媒体网络与展陈中。

“No Bullet, No Profit”
1963年11月22日中午12:30于达拉斯迪利广场（Dealey Plaza），肯尼迪总统遇刺。达拉斯首府本该艳阳高照的市政厅显得惨白无比。历史文本的阴郁色彩源于，据盖洛普（Gallup poll）调查，肯尼迪是美国历史上民调支持率最高的总统。另外杀手被杀事件与多达115人的相关关键证人离奇死亡使得跨度30年的调查充满疑云。而《货币战争》披露，刺杀背后是肯尼迪主导下美联储与政府的货币发行权之争。
对于美联储的美元霸权与布雷顿森林体系，撼动既得者利益的肯尼迪，才是那个刺客。
由右下角马莱摄影枪射出的子弹，穿过画面中心远处的自由女神像的火炬与历史的迷雾，飘向肯尼迪遇刺的市政广场。货币的政治，即是子弹的速度。而菲利普·汤恩比（Philip Toynbee）认为城市的起源是先于商业的战争，迪利广场无疑成为了刺客的全国直播处决场。直播中主角是一辆奔赴死亡的赛车，作为一种公共景观的酷刑被留存于世，公示惩罚以规训后世之刺客。
只不过，福柯笔下的1757年的被示众处决的刺客达米安（Damiens）的刑法肢解花了数个小时，肉体惩罚的示众也看似于19世纪彻底消失。
货币刺客肯尼迪的死亡只有一瞬，却被永久记录。这维希留（P. Virilio）所言之“战争的电影”被后世播放了千万遍，并被反复研究。1960s的货币达米安，肯尼迪总统，如今甚至作为暗杀/安保教材来反复研究，却迟迟不得真相。
At 12:30 noon on November 22, 1963, President Kennedy was assassinated at Dealey Plaza.The Dallas capital’s city hall, which was supposed to shine, looked pale. The gloomy color of historical texts stems from the fact that, according to a Gallup poll, Kennedy is the president with the highest opinion support in American history. In addition, the killer’s killings and the bizarre deaths of up to 115 related key witnesses have made the 30-year investigation full of doubts. The “Currency War” revealed that behind the assassination was the dispute between the Federal Reserve and the government over the right to issue currency under the
leadership of Kennedy.
For the Fed’s US dollar hegemony and the Bretton Woods system, Kennedy, who shakes the interests of the vested, is the assassin.
The bullet fired by the Marley photography gun in the lower right corner passes through the torch of the Statue of Liberty and the historical fog in the center of the picture, and floats towards the assassinated town square of Kennedy. The politics of money is the speed of bullets. And Philip Toynbee believes that the origin of the city is a war before commerce, and Dilly Plaza has undoubtedly become the national live execution venue for Assassins. In the live broadcast, the protagonist is a racing car dying to death. The torture is preserved as a public spetacle, and the public is punished in order to discipline future assassins.
However, Foucault’s penal dismemberment of the assassin Damiens, executed by the public in 1757, took hours, and the physical display of the public appeared to disappear completely in the 19th century.
Monetary Assassin Kennedy’s death was only momentary, but it was permanently recorded.This “movie of war” as described by P. Virilio has been shown millions of times and has been studied repeatedly. The currency of Damian, President Kennedy in the 1960s, is now repeatedly studied as an assassination / security textbook, but the truth has been delayed.

边缘对中心的的抵抗与斗争，构成了人类自诞生到此刻的历史。然而，历史应该仅仅被解读为时间上的一维线性发展吗？“中心”所指代的对象一直在变，但“中心”始终存在。比特币作为最初立意于干掉银行中心化账本的刺客，只是浪花一朵。

The resistance and struggle between the periphery and the center constitute the iteration of mankind history. However, should history be interpreted only as one-dimensional linear development of time? The object of “center” has been changing, but “center” always exists. Bitcoin as one alternative to eliminate centrality of bank system to be free from financial controll sounds merely mediocre.
But as a part of the decentralization history, the process from “decentralization” to “recentralization” of Bitcoin is a microcosm of the history of monetary and a reflection of the history of social power. Starting from the “eternal return” of F.W. Nietzsche and Hegel, this case reinterprets the history of architecture into the analogy between the history of monetary and the history of social power and establishes the dynamic Doppler effect by means of Sarah Whiting’s theory, i.e. “assassinating time”.

However, fantasy eventually becomes a mirage. 现代IoT等一系列的技术进步中，现实空间的物理现象将会越来越广泛被数据化，收集并存储于云端，构建成更为完备一体化的信息模型。
可以想象，通过卫星与摄像头3D扫描，在APP中对都市空间进行实时的建模还原，在深度学习的训练基础上，构建出与现实都市完全实时平行的，近似于模拟人生游戏的轴测虚拟空间。在APP中，如同游戏操作一样，进行土地使用权交易，并进行房屋设计，设计成品经过构设备审核，通过建筑预制模块化，实现在线下的快速搭建。在此基础上，APP中可以实现都市共同空间的多人参与设计，直接有效反映社区居民对都市建设的想法意见。同时各个用户的设计成品作为数据模型，将建立巨大的建筑设计资料库。以此加快都市新陈代谢速率，为都市空间设计规划提供更为丰富的可能性，成为对接现实与虚拟空间的交互平台。
