会议简介

增强气候适应性是未来建设城市韧性、提高人类健康和福祉、改善环境的优先事项之一。2021年世界城市日的年度主题为“应对气候变化，建设韧性城市”。10月31日“世界城市日”全球庆典将在埃及卢克索举办，中国主场活动将在上海举办。“世界城市日”也将是为期一个月的“城市十月”活动的高潮。10月26日，本次会议作为今年“世界城市日”中国主场配套活动之一，由中国城市规划设计研究院和联合国人类住区规划署在华信息办公室联合主办。会议将通过研究探讨“应对气候变化，建设低碳韧性城市”，希望对全球城市未来健康可持续发展建言献策。

Climate adaptation is one of the key priorities for future urban resilience and the health and well-being of people and the environment. The sub-theme of World Cities Day 2021 is “Adapting Cities for Climate Resilience”. On October 31, 2021, the World Cities Day Global Observance will be held in Luxor, Egypt. The Chinese Observance will be held in Shanghai. As one of the warm-up events of this year‘s World Cities Day in China, this symposium is co-hosted by China Academy of Urban Planning and Design and the Information Office of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) in China. This symposium will discuss the topic of “Adapting Cities for Climate Resilience”, and hope to provide suggestions for the healthy and sustainable development of global cities in the future.
