
To promote communication and exchange of the latest academic research achievements in global sci-tech field, and foster the international scientific research cooperation, in joint with excellent STEM journals (bilingual publishing), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) will hold a series of lectures on “China Science and Technology Frontiers & Information Service” for global researchers and information managers. CNKI plans to invite global researchers and librarians to exchange science and technology progress and global cooperation experiments in the field of energy, architecture, agriculture, environment, carbon neutrality, information science, and medicine & health from November, 2021.
The rise or fall of a civilization is closely tied to its relationship with nature. In recent years, China has made fruitful achievements in ecological civilization construction. Therefore, this session introduces the latest research progress in China’s ecological civilization construction for the relevant institutions and practitioners of global ecological civilization construction.
Meanwhile, the recent study on ecological civilization construction of China has been collected in a bilingual e-book titled Ecological Civilization in China, which is available on http://jtp.cnki.net/bilingual/EBook/Detail?pykm=STZG (free reading after registration on the website).

She has 30 years of experience in sustainable urban and transportation planning projects in the United States, Australia, United Arab Emirates, India, Malaysia and China.
Abstract
The “double carbon” goal is China’s updated nationally determined contribution enhancement target under the Paris Agreement and the long-term low greenhouse gas emission development strategy for the middle of the 21st century. Transport is one of the main sources of urban carbon emissions. Under the double carbon target, urban transportation must be developed with TOD land model, green transportation priority, as well as renewable energy transformation, and at the same time provide high-quality transportation services to support the green transformation of urban economy.
